Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how SBSS Studio LLC ("SBSS Studio", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use the apps we publish (the "Apps") and our website at sbs-studio.site (the "Site"). Our rule is simple: we collect only what we need to run and improve our Apps, and we never sell your personal information.
Some Apps may have an in-app privacy notice or App Store privacy label with details specific to that App. Those details add to this policy.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: if an App offers accounts, your email address, name, and sign-in details (including "Sign in with Apple" or Google sign-in).
- Content you create: notes, entries, photos, or other content you choose to store in an App.
- Support messages: your name, email, and anything you include when you contact us.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data: which features are used, how often, and app performance, collected in aggregated or pseudonymous form to improve the Apps.
- Diagnostics: crash reports and error logs, including device model, OS version and app version.
- Purchase information: Apple or Google tells us whether you have an active subscription or purchase, including the product, dates and country. We do not receive your payment card details.
- Site logs: our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security. The Site does not use advertising cookies.
Information from your device, with permission
Some Apps may ask to access your camera, photos, notifications, location, or health data (for example Apple Health). We only ask when a feature needs it, you can decline or turn access off at any time in your device settings, and we use that data only for the feature you chose. Health data is never used for advertising or sold.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Apps and their features, and to sync your data across devices when you choose to;
- To process subscriptions and restore purchases;
- To answer support requests;
- To understand how the Apps are used, fix bugs and build improvements;
- To keep the Services secure and prevent fraud and abuse; and
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
3. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the Apps (for example cloud hosting, databases, crash reporting, analytics, subscription management, email, and AI model providers for AI features), who may use it only to provide their service to us;
- Apple and Google, as needed to process in-app purchases through their stores;
- Authorities, when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users or others; and
- A successor, if our business is merged or sold, subject to this policy.
4. AI features
When you use an AI feature, the content you submit is sent to our AI model provider to generate a response. We use providers that do not use this data to train their models under our agreements with them. Avoid entering sensitive information into AI features you don't want processed this way.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Apps. You can delete your account and its data from within the App (where accounts are offered) or by emailing privacy@sbs-studio.site. We delete or anonymize it within 30 days, except where we must keep certain records for legal, tax or security reasons. Support emails are kept for up to two years.
6. Security
We protect data with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest where supported, access controls and two-factor authentication on our internal accounts. No system is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you of a breach as required by law.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, including California (CCPA/CPRA), the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom (GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@sbs-studio.site. We will respond within the time required by law and won't treat you differently for using your rights.
Where GDPR applies, we rely on these legal bases: performing our contract with you (providing the App), our legitimate interests (improving and securing the Apps), your consent (for optional permissions such as notifications or health data), and legal obligations.
8. Tracking
We do not track you across other companies' apps and websites. If an App ever needs to do so, it will ask for your permission first through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt or the equivalent on Android.
9. International transfers
We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
10. Children
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you in the App or on the Site. The effective date at the top shows when it was last updated.
